Tip! You can extend the life of your AS-Trodes by following these simple rules:

• Always cleanse skin with mild soap and water to gently remove all body oils, lotions, make-up or perspiration. Rinse thoroughly to remove all soap residue and let dry before applying electrodes.
• When applying electrodes, make sure there is "total contact" (no curling, gaps, etc.), with the skin.
• Remove electrode from the skin by lifting the edge of the pad rather than by pulling it off by the lead wire.
• After each treatment, place electrodes on their protective backing and seal the bag to prevent the gel from drying out.
• Apply a few drops of the Alpha-Stim® conductive solution to each pad to rehydrate its surface once the gel becomes less sticky.
• When the gel loses its ability to adhere properly to the skin, it is time to get new electrodes.
