Alpha-Stim devices may be sold by, or with a prescription or statement of medical necessity from a licensed healthcare/mental health practitioner (US only), including medical doctors, osteopaths, dentists, chiropractors, naturopaths, podiatrists, nurse practitioners, psychologists, LCSWs, acupuncturists, and physical therapists.

On the prescription or statement of medical necessity, your provider must specify which model of Alpha-Stim has been ordered for you, i.e. "Alpha-Stim 100”, “Alpha-Stim SCS” or “Alpha-Stim PPM” and she should include "no substitutions." The model comparison below should be helpful in determining the best unit for you; you or your provider are also welcome to contact us for assistance determining the best unit for you. Your provider's degree and license number must be included on the Statement of Medical Necessity. No Rx is required for shipments outside the USA but consultation with a qualified healthcare professional is strongly recommended.
